If someone asked me the question "If I could only listen to one artist for the rest of my life, who would it be?" I might just have to say Mr. Roy Ayers. seriously. He can fit any mood, accompany any emotion, and dive into your thoughts with ease. I'm usually not a big fan of vocalists, but Roy always uses the perfect touch, adding in that mysterious sounding female voice The vybes are always on point, and the message of liberation and Pan-Afrikanism is always a perfect combination. This is one of my favorite Roy albums. I'm sure you'll enjoy this as much as I do!

The 60's Straight Ahead Jazz is definitely cool, and I can listen to it all day, but let me quote the ever so insightful words of Gwen Stefani when I say "This my Shit!" (Sorry, I won't do that again). One of the biggest contributers to Hip Hop, Roy Ayers is one of the greatest musicians that the world has ever seen. This is one of those covers that you look at and say to yourself, "Man, I know this is heat" (maybe not in those exact words) Anything with "Roy Ayers" and "197-" is some of the illest shit ever, heres just one joint. Don't trip, I'll post more later!
